extended mail vars module for FreeScout

This module adds more variables to auto reply of a newly received support request.

Informations

  • The module is in a very early status, very rudimentary but should not cause any problems.
  • Currently freescout is only extended with the variable {%conversation.firstmessage%}. With this it is possible to include the customer's initial message in the auto reply.
  • The variable can be imported via dropdown using the "Initial Customer Message" option (see screenshot below).
  • This module has no dependencies

Installation

  1. Download this module and add the folder MaisenExtendetMailVar to /Modules of freescout.
  2. Activate the module "Maisen's Extendet Mail Vars" via the Modules page in FreeScout.

Update

  1. Deactivate the module MaisenExtendetMailVar
  2. Delete the module MaisenExtendetMailVar
  3. Download this module and add the folder MaisenExtendetMailVar to /Modules of freescout.
  4. Activate the module "Maisen's Extendet Mail Vars" via the Modules page in FreeScout.
